Tiller's Gabe Chesman Recognized as Corporate Social Responsibility Thought Leader by Fast Company
Tiller’s social media consultant, Gabe Chesman, has been recognized as one of “the great thought leaders in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for 2010” by Fast Company contributor Ann Charles, who awarded Gabe a spot in her BRANDfog’s 2010 CSRTree.

Over the past year, Gabe has closely observed the ever-changing worlds of social media and CSR, sharing timely information and commentary. With a particular focus on the financial services industry, Gabe has observed how various forms of social media, especially Twitter, have had a profound impact on media relations, communications and customer interaction.
“Financial services companies are increasingly understanding the importance of CSR, absolutely and specifically in relation to social media. Social media are here to stay. CSR and advocacy marketing platforms provide a powerful vehicle for financial services companies to get in touch with customers and convey news quickly – and do so in ways that speak meaningfully to customer interests and concerns.”
Gabe joined Tiller after working in the marketing department of two of Philadelphia’s largest law firms, Dechert, LLP and Duane Morris. He now serves as Tiller’s social media consultant, advising on social media for the company’s advocacy programs.
Gabe said he was grateful and honored by Fast Company’s recognition of his work. “The worlds of CSR and social media world are evolving quickly and are increasingly intertwined. I try very hard to stay at the forefront of it all. It’s humbling to be recognized for doing what I love.”
